Sprint, Middle distance and Long distance competitions.

Sprint and Middle distance are World Ranking Events (WRE).

The Middle distance and Long distance competitions are relevant as training for potential participants of WMOC 2018, as they take place in adjacent forrest areas to Søskoven which will be used for the WMOC 2018 finale.

The sprint area consists of built-up areas and larger open grass covered area..

The built-up area consists mainly of apartment houses, an extensive web of walking paths, lawn, fences and impassable hedges. 

The area is flat with only small height differences.

Middle

The terrain consists predominantly of mixed open deciduous forest with lots of pine forest and younger closer vegetation with elements of open meadows and large marsh areas. 

Runnability is generally good with an extensive trail system.

Light to moderate hills and several completely flat areas

The terrain consists predominantly of mixed open deciduous forest with lots of pine forest.

Runnability is good and there is an extensive trail system. 

Steep slopes at Lake Esrum and significant hills in Gribskov Mårum and flatter areas both west of the terrain in Mårum and in the east in Søskoven.
